Creative Collages Inc. (CCI) is a labor of love created
from a passionate hobby.
Mitch Gaber, CCI's president, began creating sports collages as a child. A life-long sports fan, Mitch was able to create unique artwork by meticulously cutting pictures of his favorite sports figures from magazines and combining them in the form of a collage.
As Mitch honed his artistic abilities, the quality of his collages grew. He began to have the artwork, the largest measuring 6 foot high by 9 foot wide, professionally photographed. This was in response to numerous requests by art galleries, restaurants and sports bars to purchase these collages for resale.
By 1997, Mitch had more than 20 collages and pursued the concept of digitally inserting a child's picture into a collage. The thought was to be able to offer this at his own nephew's Bar Mitzvah. The response from the guests was overwhelming ... EVERYONE wanted to get photographed and put into a collage! This was the beginning of Creative Collages.
Since then, the number collages has grown by more than double, with new collages being added all the time. And to appeal to the diversity of the guests interests, many non-sports collages have been added.
